| FREIDA Online: FREIDA Online, from the American Medical Association, is an essential resource to review. As described on their web site, "FREIDA Online is a database with over 8,700 graduate medical education programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, as well as over 200 combined specialty programs". Searching for Residency and Training Programs can be limited by specialty, state, institution, and optional criteria. |
| Strolling Through the Match: Oringinally developed in 1979 by the students of the Family Practice Student Association at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, with support from the department of family medicine and revised annually by the The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), this resource provides an excellent overview to the many steps and decisions facing medical students as they prepare for their residency applications. Included in the "stroll" are time lines, checklists, an introduction to ERAS, choosing a specialty, residency selection steps, interviews and the Match.
